CenterPoint Properties is proud to announce an eight-year lease agreement with UNIS, LLC, for a state-of-the-art facility at 3901 Brandon Road in Joliet, IL. The 826,755 SF building sits on 78 acres in one of the most premier locations in North America for easy access to regional interstates and rail, the CenterPoint Intermodal Center – Joliet (CIC ­– Joliet).

UNIS needed a new, larger distribution space quickly as it was reaching capacity at its current location. The CenterPoint Intermodal Center was the ideal fit for UNIS’ needs. It provides direct access to I-55 and I-80 along with the Union Pacific Joliet Intermodal Terminal (UP JIT) and the BSNF Logistics Park Chicago (BSNF LPC), allowing for tremendous transportation efficiency.

UNIS’ new facility features 300 trailer stalls with exterior-grade LED light fixtures, along with 354 expandable car parking stalls and 84 loading docks. The facility includes a 5,000 SF office space for on-site warehouse management.

UNIS is also a tenant at the CenterPoint SoCal Logistics Center (SCLC), a prime one million+ SF building, at 6800 Valley View Street in Buena Park, California.

Founded in 1989, UNIS has grown into a key, national third-party logistics provider that has expanded into all major U.S. markets. The company is known for its superior technology, smart supply chains and fast execution.
