CEVA Logistics, a world leader in third-party logistics, today announced the next phase of its global growth strategy under Chief Executive Officer Patrick Moebel. Following a period of listening and engagement with employees, customers and business partners, CEVA is advancing measures designed to simplify execution, increase agility and strengthen customer focus across its worldwide operations.

Since joining CEVA on July 1, Moebel has met with teams and customers across key geographies and market sectors to assess how the company can build on its strong foundation while accelerating performance and growth.

Patrick Moebel, CEO, CEVA Logistics, said: “CEVA has extraordinary people, strong capabilities and an unmatched global network. What I have heard consistently is that we can move faster, simplify decision-making and further strengthen accountability. Our focus is straightforward: empower our people, execute for our customers and deliver sustainable performance. Everything we are doing is designed to help our teams better serve customers around the world.”

A simplified model focused on customer execution
As part of this next chapter, CEVA is refining its operating model to create a simplified, more customer-centric organization. The company is increasing decision-making authority closer to customers and operations, strengthening accountability across regions and business lines, and enhancing collaboration throughout the organization. The actions, in line with applicable social processes, are intended to drive operational excellence, support future growth and improve responsiveness, with CEVA remaining true to its “Responsive Logistics for You” promise.

As part of its operating model, CEVA has appointed Henri Le Gouis to lead Freight Management and Chris Walton to lead Contract Logistics, its two core global business units encompassing all CEVA activities. CEVA has also named regional leaders to reinforce local accountability and empower teams to make decisions closer to customers and operations: Scott Temple for the Americas, Paul Bernard for North-Central Europe, Eric Dessupoiu for South Europe (including France), Olivier Boccara for Asia Pacific and Paras Rawal for India, the Middle East and Africa.

The evolution of CEVA’s operating model reflects the company’s ambition to co-create value alongside its customers in the global market through a commitment to service excellence, innovation and long-term partnerships.

Moebel added: “Customers today expect logistics partners that are agile, connected and empowered to solve challenges quickly. Our objective is to build an organization that consistently delivers those outcomes, while creating opportunities for our employees and generating long-term value for our customers, partners and shareholder.”

Since joining the CMA CGM Group in 2019, CEVA has expanded its size, capabilities and global reach. As the Group’s strategic logistics pillar, CEVA has integrated large logistics players, including Ingram Micro’s CLS division, GEFCO, Bolloré Logistics, and most recently, FedEx Supply Chain. The company has also made numerous domestic bolt-on acquisitions and launched joint ventures to accelerate its growth in key geographies or market sectors. Looking ahead, CEVA will focus on completing the integration of acquired companies, with particular emphasis on ensuring the successful integration of FedEx Supply Chain.
