Last week (wk 44), worldwide chargeable weight decreased by 1% compared with a week earlier (wk 43). Asia Pacific was the only origin region with a slight increase in chargeable weight (+1%). Worldwide capacity was down by 2%. The only increase in capacity came from Middle East & South Asia (+1%), with the largest decrease from North America (-4%). Worldwide yield/rate (in USD per kg) increased for the third week in a row.
