PhilaPort received two more super post-Panamax cranes early this morning to the Packer Avenue Marine Terminal. After an overnight transit up the Delaware River, the cranes arrived seamlessly approximately 3:45 A.M.

At the Navis 2019 conference in San Francisco, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co Ltd (ZPMC), the world's largest port machinery manufacturer, sees automated ports as the key to its long-term growth.

On a normal day, 42 tankers, 19 freighters, 391 barges, 128 ferries and 2 cruise ships will move through the Houston Ship Channel. On any given day, a few of those tankers will be as long as 10 football fields.
