Effective immediately, Consolidated Chassis Management (CCM), a leading cooperative chassis pool manager, is expanding its leadership team and evolving its organizational structure to prepare the company for the continued development of its current pool products, as well as leverage the opportunities for growth in other areas of the industry.
With the recent announcement of its new ownership agreement, as well as the successful launch of SACP 3.0 last month, CCM is poised for future growth and success.
To bring the vision of Mr. Wilson to fruition, the organization is expanding its leadership team, starting with the following organization structure changes and appointments.
From an operational perspective, CCM will put greater focus on procurement and strategic development while also continuing to build on the efficient and effective execution of the company’s business. To that end, operational responsibilities will be segmented into two positions: SVP of Corporate Operations and Strategy and SVP of Pool Operations.
- Michael Mitchell has been appointed to SVP Corporate Operations and Strategy, which will oversee Technical Services, Risk Management and various aspects of Fleet-Asset Management. The role will manage the development of CCM’s procurement strategy, while also overseeing the expansion of business under the Consolidated Equipment Services (CES) brand. He will continue to report directly to Mike Wilson.
- Robert Kline will be taking on the newly appointed role of Director of Procurement, reporting directly to Michael Mitchell.
- John Donahue joined CCM as SVP Pool operations and will oversee the critical element of operational execution of the CCM pool network (SACP, MCCP, MWCP, DCCP, FCCP). Mr. Donahue brings years of experience in operational leadership focusing on Equipment Control, Logistics, Inland Transportation, Port Operations and Process and Quality Management. He will report directly to Mike Wilson.
- Carl Francis has been promoted to Director of SACP 3.0 and James Woods will take on the newly created position of Director of Inland Pools, overseeing the MCCP, MWCO, DCCP and FCCP. They will both report to John Donahue.
“These new executive positions will help ensure the future success of CCM as we continue to evolve and grow our business,” Mr. Wilson said. “Our new owners are excited to work with us in building CCM and its portfolio into new and exciting areas of growth.”
