WESTERVILLE, OHIO - DHL Supply Chain, the Americas’ leader in contract logistics and part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, along with its partner SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc., the largest and only national wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States, today announce that they have established a partnership to begin distribution to more than 160 SiteOne store locations in 11 states in the Southern U.S. This launch marks the completed opening of SiteOne’s first 193,000-square foot facility distribution center in Fairburn, Georgia, operated by DHL Supply Chain.  “DHL Supply Chain has the resources and expertise to help SiteOne quickly implement our central distribution strategy,” said Greg Weller, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, SiteOne. “Our partnership with DHL Supply Chain will take SiteOne to the next level by streamlining product flow to our stores and improving service to our customers.” SiteOne has been distributing landscape supplies since 2001 when the organization began as John Deere Landscapes. Until today, those products were shipped to SiteOne’s more than 470 branches directly from the suppliers, which were all around the country. Through its partnership with DHL Supply Chain, SiteOne begins a more efficient distribution process through a centralized distribution center, ultimately reducing inefficiencies and improving customer service.  “SiteOne’s distribution launch today means the beginning of increased efficiency for the organization and its customers, and that’s something DHL Supply Chain is proud to enable,” said Brian Miller, Senior Director of Business Development, DHL Supply Chain North America. “Through our talented team, our customized solution and our established network, we expect this partnership to generate great results.”
