Evans Distribution Systems is pleased to welcome Rebecca Iskenderian as Senior Automotive Account Manager, who brings more than 22 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, third-party logistics, materials management, and supply chain operations.
In her new role, Rebecca supports automotive customers by leveraging her expertise in inventory management, logistics planning, process improvement, operational execution, budget forecasting, and financial oversight. With nearly 50% of Evans’ customer base tied to the automotive industry, this role is critical to maintaining strong partnerships with Evans’ most dedicated customers.
Prior to joining Evans, Rebecca spent 13 years with Stellantis, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in materials, scheduling, logistics, and inventory management. Most recently, she served as a Banking Senior Specialist, overseeing inventory programs across North America and Mexico while supporting supply continuity and program launch initiatives. Throughout her tenure, she led major logistics projects, supplier integration efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives that improved operational performance and delivered significant cost savings.
“I am excited to leverage my unique perspective, having experienced both the customer and third-party logistics provider sides of the relationship,” Rebecca says. “My goal is to ensure that value is delivered and business goals are achieved for both Evans and its customers.”
At a time where Detroit-based automotive manufacturers and suppliers are challenged on many levels, Evans is focusing on delivering quality, high-touch service, innovative solutions, and increased flexibility to support its customers. “The current climate requires specialized account management and proactive problem-solving to help automotive customers navigate volatility,” says Evans. “We feel strongly that Rebecca fits that role perfectly and we are grateful to welcome her to our team.”
