Charleston, S.C. – Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, has broken ground at the Southeastern Freight Lines Service Center in Savannah, Georgia, where the company will complete a significant dock expansion to the existing 58-dock door facility.

As part of the expansion, approximately 17,371 square feet of covered dock space will be built to house 44 new dock doors. Frampton Construction will also pave five acres on site to allow for additional drive aisles and 144 new trailer parking spaces. To make way for the dock expansion and additional parking, nine acres of land will undergo site development.

This is Frampton Construction’s ninth project for Southeastern Freight Lines, and on this project, they will work with Robert Johnson Architects, Criser Troutman Tanner Consulting Engineers, Jordan Skala Engineers, and Ayercorp. Construction at the facility is expected to be complete by December 2018.
