Hong Kong - Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest independent cargo handler – has been named “Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year” at the World Air Cargo Awards 2019. The company has won the title seven times in the thirteen years of the competition.
\Hactl Chief Executive Wilson Kwong received the award at a prestigious gala dinner held at Munich’s Westin Grand Hotel, witnessed by an international audience of air cargo executives who were in town for the biennial Air Cargo Europe exhibition and conference.
Commenting on the award, Kwong said: “We at Hactl are once again deeply honoured to have received this accolade, which is a clear expression of the views of our airline customers, and the freight forwarders who experience our services and facilities daily.
“We thank all those who took the time and trouble to vote for us, and we are truly grateful for their continuing support. We pledge to carry on earning their respect by working hard, investing, and driving innovation and continuous improvement.
“Above all, I dedicate this award to the wonderful 2,400 staff in my team, who work through the night and through all weathers, year-round, to deliver the premium service for which Hactl is renowned.”
