At the beginning of October 2019, Hapag-Lloyd will introduce the MIAX Service (Middle East-India-Africa Express) which will offer weekly direct sailings between Arabian Gulf, India, Colombo, La Reunion, South Africa and West Africa.
These markets will be well linked to our Global Mainline Network via the ports of Jebel Ali and Colombo, offering competitive connectivity to all other markets.
The MIAX will be jointly operated with ONE composing of 9 x 2,800 TEU vessels with five ships being deployed by Hapag-Lloyd.
