Hapag-Lloyd: Indonesia revised demurrage and detention free time

Hapag-Lloyd announced that with effect from April 2, 2019 Hapag-Lloyd’s Detention & Demurrage Free Time applicable for all Indonesia ports will be as noted below:

Export Detention (MHO)

Remarks:

Calculation of “MHO”: commences from the 1st calendar day after pick-up of empty unit from Hapag-Lloyd's designated place of interchange and ends after the full return of unit at the designated place of interchange.

Import Detention (MHD)

Remarks:

Calculation of “MHD”: commences on the 1st calendar day after pick-up at Hapag-Lloyd's designated place of interchange and ends after return of empty unit at the designated place of interchange.

Import Demurrage (DMD)

Remarks:

Calculation of “DMD”: commences from the day the container is discharged from vessel.

DMD Freetime and charges do not include port storage costs which are settled directly between consignee and terminal as per local practice.
