To further improve the consistency and reliability of their services across China, Hapag-Lloyd will enhance our China organizational set-up as follows:

Hapag-Lloyd’s current Sales organizations in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan will be merged into one combined Area China Sales organization, headquartered in Shanghai, under the leadership of Managing Director Guillermo Ginesta.

Simultaneously Hapag-Lloyd will create a Business Service Center in Suzhou which will handle all non-customer facing tasks within Customer Service, Operations and Finance, under the leadership of Managing Director Juliana See.

Customer facing functions in Sales and Customer Service will remain in place at every Hapag-Lloyd office in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to directly and timely address customers’ needs and requirements.

The changes will be implemented step-wise from August 2018 until December 2018.
