LATAM Cargo Group and Unilode Aviation Solutions are enhancing their collaboration through the roll-out of Unilode's state-of-the art ULD digital tracking solution to LATAM's entire ULD fleet. Following the successful outsourcing of LATAM's entire ULD management operation to Unilode in 2016, this development is another major milestone in a partnership that has seen the opening of a bespoke ULD repair centre in Santiago de Chile and an optimised ULD supply enabling LATAM to focus on fulfilling its growth ambitions.

Mr. Andrés Bianchi, LATAM Cargo CEO, said: "At LATAM we are focusing on reinforcing LATAM Cargo's competitiveness in order to maintain our leadership in Latin America. Unilode´s digitalisation program will provide LATAM with opportunities to enhance our product offering by improving visibility and adding features such as temperature monitoring of the tracking devices that will be fitted to our containers and pallets."

Mr. Benoît Dumont, Unilode CEO, said: "LATAM is a strategic customer for Unilode, one we are proud to have in our portfolio. Both parties have worked closely together over the last three years and I am delighted that we are now taking our partnership to the next level through our digitalisation program. Our innovative solution will give both parties even more visibility and control of ULD movements, and provide LATAM with exciting new possibilities to stand out from their competition and increase revenues in the segments that they are strong in, like fresh produce."
