Maersk Line announced additional information regarding the upcoming Chinese New Year network changes for all Eastbound services and will provide Westbound service updates by January 16th. This update will provide the alternative routings available for your booking. There may be cases where there is no suitable alternative and the cargo must wait for the next available sailing. These alternative routings should help you identify opportunities to optimize your supply chain while reducing service disruptions and will be available to book in our system by January 18th. Please note: For the TP12 blanking, the above alternate vessel for Newark discharge cargo will apply for Singapore, Chiwan, Yantian, and Hong Kong loads. Ningbo, Shanghai, and Busan will transfer to the TP10 Sealand Meteor, which will be inducing Newark. Norfolk and Baltimore discharge cargo loading at Ningbo, Shanghai, and Busan will be postponed to the following TP12 MSC Elodie. For the TP10 blanking, the TP12 MSC Elodie will load Shanghai, Ningbo, and Busan cargo (including Qingdao and Xingang relay) and will induce Savannah. Charleston, Wilmington and Jacksonville discharge cargo will be postponed to the following TP10 Northern Promotion. Please also note that this plan is subject to change. Please note: For the weeks the TP8 is blanking, Qingdao cargo is planned to be either loaded on normal TP8 Qingdao port call or on other pre-carriers for further connection. On the week the TP9 E.R. Los Angeles blanks, for headhaul (Eastbound), Prince Rupert local cargo will be delayed by 1 week. Please refer to the above contingency routing table for US inland and East Canada cargo; Nansha and Ningbo to Vancouver local cargo will be delayed by 1 week. Yantian, Shanghai and Busan to Vancouver local cargo could be routed to the TP1. Please also note that this plan is subject to change.
