St. Charles, MO - Milestone Equipment Holdings, a national leader in transportation equipment leasing solutions, announced the acquisition of a trailer leasing branch office in Jacksonville, FL. This acquisition signifies Milestone’s continuing commitment to expanding its national footprint.
Acquired from Fleet Trailer on October 1, the Jacksonville branch office is the second one that Milestone has added in Florida this year, following the Orlando branch office that opened in February. Jacksonville is also the fourth new branch office added by Milestone in 2019 and the 28th branch office in its growing nationwide trailer leasing network, in addition to its comprehensive network of chassis and container depots.
“The Jacksonville acquisition is an important follow-up to the launch of our Orlando branch earlier this year,” Don Clayton, President & CEO of Milestone, said. “This will further increase our ability to effectively serve customers in the Florida and Georgia markets as we continue to focus on our broad nationwide expansion plans.”
As part of this acquisition, the existing Fleet Trailer staff will continue operating the Jacksonville branch office under the Milestone brand. Current Fleet Trailer customers will continue to receive outstanding service from the team, while benefiting further from Milestone’s broad array of new, used, specialty and Mobile Warehousing & Storage trailer leasing solutions.
