A Container Compliance Charge of USD 8 per 20’ and USD 16 per 40’/45’ will be introduced effective October 1st, 2020 (POL gate in date).

The Container Compliance Charge shall cover the carrier’s costs with respect to inspecting the container for damages, verifying that it remains seaworthy, and performing necessary repairs. Such costs should not exceed USD 500 per container.

Any repair above this amount (per single container) will be collected from the customer separately, in addition to the exceeded amount of USD 500.

The Container Compliance Charge shall not apply to reefer units, special equipment, or shipper-owned units.
