TA Services, a premier full-service third-party logistics provider, is excited to announce Nicole Kunis as a winner of the 2023 Women in the Supply Chain award presented by Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global cold food supply chain, and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain. Nicole is one of three TA Services female leaders to be honored this year.

Nicole, an Account Manager at TA Services, has made a strong impact during her supply chain logistics career. In her role, she is responsible for roughly 30 clients and continues to prove herself as a top performer in volume, margin, and revenue - all KPIs that are important to the job and expectations of shippers. For example, in October of 2020 Nicole started working with a new customer and, using her knowledge and skillset, she grew Volume over 50% and is now a go-to partner for that customer.

Nicole’s exceptional leadership methods and ability to generate new business opportunities has helped make her, and TA Services, a partner of choice for shippers. She has also had the opportunity to grow her team within a short period of time because of her outstanding performance.

"I am truly honored to receive this award," Nicole said. "My goal is to break the ultimate glass ceiling of upper management in this industry, and I hope to help other women do the same."

Among her many accounts at TA, Nicole has one that yields over 100 loads per day. Her ability to manage all of her accounts with the help of her team is a testament to her abilities as a leader in the industry. She also prioritizes elevating and encouraging other women that she works with. As she assumes new roles and responsibilities within TA Services, she consistently recognizes other women in logistics for their achievements, ensuring that other deserving women are acknowledged and promoted when they exhibit similar performance levels.

“Women have been making a significant impact in supply chain management, contributing to the growth and innovation of the supply chain industry. As more women join the supply chain workforce, they bring diverse perspectives that can help address complex supply chain problems and improve global supply chain operations. It is important that we empower, recognize and elevate these achievements through initiatives like the Women in Supply Chain Award, as seen through the overwhelming response. Congratulations to all the winners, those who nominated others and the bravery of those who nominated themselves,” adds Sarah Barnes-Humphrey, founder of Let’s Talk Supply Chain podcast and Blended Pledge project, both exclusive sponsors of the Women in Supply Chain award.

Nicole prioritizes building lasting relationships with her colleagues and clients and believes being a woman in the industry is an advantage when building relationships and making connections. From beginning origins in carrier sales to senior carrier sales all the way to account manager, Nicole has consistently risen through the ranks and has proven herself as a competitive differentiator in an industry that is traditionally male dominated, and she has no plans to slow down any time soon.
