The Danish Energy Agency has offered the company Nord Stream 2 AG. that they can participate in the recovery of the unknown object near the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. It was Russia that observed the object and published the information.

Relevant Danish authorities have examined the object and assessed that the object does not immediately pose a security risk.

With a view to further clarifying the nature of the object, the authorities have decided to salvage it with assistance from the Norwegian Armed Forces. In this connection, the Danish Energy Agency has offered the owner company, Nord Stream 2 AG, to participate in the salvage.

The Danish Energy Agency is now awaiting feedback from the company before the salvage is initiated.
