Freeport, TX - Port Freeport has named Lauren McCormick as Public Affairs Manager, responsible for managing community and local government relations. A lifelong Gulf Coast resident, McCormick joined Port Freeport as Marketing Specialist last spring bringing diverse business experience from both the healthcare and energy industries.
“Lauren’s experience in the Business Development department combined with her experience managing sales, marketing, and small business programs gives her an excellent foundation for this position.”, stated Phyllis Saathoff, Executive Director/CEO.
McCormick has a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin.
