Through its driver retention strategies, RWI Transportation has been able to successfully maintain an 83 percent turnover rate during the second quarter of 2013. This impressive rate is significantly lower than the industry average of 99 percent turnover for large truckload fleets (company drivers and owner operators), according to the most recent American Trucking Associations’ Trucking Activity Report.
