SARR Freights, a member of the World Wide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, recently completed a shipment from Krishnapatnam Port, Andhra Pradesh to Ramagundam, Telangana, covering a distance of 650 kms. The shipment contained various ODC cargo and Flat Rack / Dry GP containers totalling 2,500 freight tons. It also included four 60-100 ton crates and one 200 ton crate of project equipment, including a 200 ton centrifugal compressor. The scope of work included custom clearance at Krishnapatnam, port handling, storage and inland transportation of the cargo.

The shipment was part of a long-term contract for which SARR Freights has handled over 150,000 freight tons of project cargo so far. The cargo handled included ODC, Break Bulk & containerized cargo.
