ECS managed a time-critical shipment of oversized industrial machinery from Minnesota to Trinidad and Tobago. Weighing 11,612 kg and measuring 5.51 M × 1.53 M × 2.49 M, the machinery was too large for standard airfreight, while ocean transportation would have taken several weeks. To support the customer's urgent operational restart, ECS arranged a dedicated Boeing 777 freighter charter from Houston.

The machinery was transported by flatbed from Minneapolis to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), where it was loaded onto the Boeing 777 freighter for the approximately five-hour flight to Trinidad and Tobago. The combined inland and airfreight solution provided a faster alternative to ocean transportation.

Despite the overnight arrival, ECS's team in Trinidad was on-site to receive the cargo and coordinate final delivery. By managing the inland transportation, air charter and local handling as one coordinated operation, ECS helped minimize downtime and support the customer's rapid return to operations.

The shipment demonstrates the importance of flexible transport planning and rapid execution when oversized project cargo must be moved within a tight operational timeframe.
