LEXINGTON, S.C. – Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Mark Schwarzmueller has been promoted to regional vice president of operations. Schwarzmueller will lead teams in the southeast region of the United States, covering 18 service centers spanning three states, including parts of Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

With more than 16 years of experience at Southeastern, Schwarzmueller started his career at the Charlotte, North Carolina service center as a frontline leader. After meeting and exceeding expectations as a breakbulk manager, he was promoted to various leadership positions, including operations manager, assistant service center manager and, most recently, service center manager in Greenville, South Carolina.

Schwarzmueller will be based in Orlando, Florida, and frequently travel throughout the region he oversees. Schwarzmueller is excited about the new opportunity and looks forward to serving the Southeastern team in this new capacity.
