LEXINGTON, S.C. - Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Rex Clarkson has been promoted to service center manager in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Clarkson holds more than 40 years of LTL transportation service experience, with six as part of the Southeastern family. His previous experience includes various roles, such as service center administrator, front line supervisor, account manager, break-bulk manager and regional director. “Rex exudes the Southeastern culture, consistently supporting the quality without question service model,” said David Turner, regional vice president of operations. “We are excited to see him step into this leadership role where he will continue to advance the strong quality that the Oklahoma City service center encompasses.” When he’s not at work, Clarkson spends time outdoors playing golf, fly fishing and bird hunting. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary Dawn, their four children and six grandchildren and is excited for his new position in Oklahoma.
