Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Richard Ransburgh has been promoted to service center manager in Asheville, North Carolina.

With over 20 years of experience at Southeastern, Ransburgh started his career at the North Atlanta, Georgia, service center as a freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including pickup and delivery driver, inbound supervisor, outbound supervisor, inbound operations manager, outbound operations manager and, most recently, assistant service center manager at the Fort Worth, Texas, service center.

“Throughout the various roles Richard has served, he has showcased outstanding leadership and dedication to living out our culture of providing quality without question service,” said Kim Shore, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines. “We are confident that Richard will continue to build upon and emulate these qualities as he takes on his new role leading the team in Asheville.”
