LEXINGTON, S.C.  – Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Steve Counihan has been promoted to regional fleet services manager for maintenance. Counihan will lead teams in the southcentral region of the United States, covering 14 service centers, spanning over Louisiana and Texas.

Counihan has more than five years of experience at Southeastern Freight Lines, where he began his career as fleet services manager in Jacksonville, Florida. After meeting and exceeding expectations, he was promoted to regional fleet services manager and oversaw fleet service technicians across the region.

Counihan will be based in South Houston, Texas, and frequently traveling throughout the region. Counihan and his wife are excited about the new opportunity and look forward to serving the Southeastern Freight Lines team in a new capacity.
