SPLAKDHN GPS, an India-focused GPS tracking and telematics solutions provider, has announced the expansion of its pan-India distribution network for AIS-140-compliant vehicle tracking systems through partnerships with multiple GPS manufacturers.

The initiative is aimed at making AIS-140 telematics solutions more accessible to commercial fleet operators, transport companies, corporate customers, GPS dealers and channel partners across India.

AIS-140-compliant vehicle tracking systems are used in commercial transportation applications where vehicle location, operational visibility, safety monitoring and regulatory requirements are important considerations. By working with multiple manufacturers, SPLAKDHN GPS intends to provide customers and channel partners with access to a broader range of compatible tracking devices and deployment options.

Through its distribution initiative, SPLAKDHN GPS plans to serve both direct customers and channel partners. The company is targeting applications across commercial transportation and fleet operations, including taxis, buses, logistics fleets, commercial vehicles and other connected-vehicle applications where AIS-140-compliant tracking may be required.

The multi-manufacturer approach also enables GPS dealers and channel partners to source AIS-140 products through a single distribution network rather than relying on a limited range of manufacturers. SPLAKDHN GPS expects the channel model to support both established GPS businesses and new partners entering India's growing vehicle-telematics market.

In addition to hardware distribution, SPLAKDHN GPS provides GPS tracking and telematics capabilities designed to support real-time vehicle monitoring, location tracking, trip history, geofencing, alerts and fleet-management requirements. Depending on the deployment, the company's solutions can also support integration with tracking platforms and other fleet-management systems.

The company is continuing to develop its manufacturer and channel network across India, with the objective of creating a scalable distribution ecosystem for AIS-140-compliant telematics products.

SPLAKDHN GPS's pan-India initiative reflects the company's broader strategy of expanding beyond individual GPS device sales and developing an integrated ecosystem connecting manufacturers, distributors, dealers, technology providers and commercial fleet customers.
