TNW Corporation, a privately held transportation company whose subsidiaries operate Class III railroads and logistics facilities across Texas, today announced that NETX Railway (Northeast Texas Railway Company), its newest railroad subsidiary, has begun operations in Northeast Texas. NETX Railway operates the corridor under a long-term agreement with the Northeast Texas Rural Rail Transportation District and is investing to strengthen freight rail service and support economic growth across the region’s communities.

NETX Railway spans approximately 66 miles between Greenville, Texas and Winfield, Texas, serving customers in Hunt, Delta, Hopkins, Franklin, and Titus counties. NETX Railway interchanges with two Class I partners — Union Pacific and CPKC — connecting Northeast Texas industries to international markets and supply chains. The railway serves a diverse base of customers across agriculture, building materials, chemicals, pipe, and recycling industries.

NETX Railway will invest in the region’s rail infrastructure to improve connectivity to North American markets, enhance rail service reliability, support local industry, and create opportunities for jobs and long-term economic growth across Northeast Texas.
