The U.S. infrastructure industry is at a moment of transition, and President Trump is again talking infrastructure with Capitol Hill, tabling a $2 trillion investment number. Today CG/LA Infrastructure is releasing our 3rd Annual Strategic 50 U.S. Infrastructure Projects Report, highlighting $290 billion worth of projects, impacting every Congressional district in the country. The Blueprint 2025 2X Leadership Forum will feature and host these projects, critical technologies, and innovative finance, at an event for 200 public and private executives at Nationals Park on May 7th.

“The projects on our list all have opportunities for private investment, and each addresses a critical issue, from mobility, to safe and secure electricity to the coming 5G foundational infrastructure, 'critical for everything from smart cities to driverless vehicles," says Norman Anderson, CEO & Chairman of CG/LA Infrastructure. Following years of underinvestment one of the report’s key conclusions is that we have a massive opportunity to leapfrog into the future.
We also have an opportunity to take a new look at strategic projects: “The Gateway Program is proud to be on this year’s list for the Blueprint 2025 2X Leadership Forum, emphasizing critical projects to energize dialogue into action on infrastructure across the U.S.,” said Stephen Sigmund, Chief of Pubic Outreach for The Gateway Program Development Corporation.
“CG/LA Infrastructure provides crucial contributions to the industry; working with key projects to gain a platform that highlights them with the help of their network of top executives in both the private and public sector.”
The Strategic 50 by the Numbers. There are big surprises in this year’s list, which would generate nearly 2.4 million direct jobs – and benefits in virtually every Congressional district. One example: the water & wastewater sector leads, with approximately $81 billion in investment opportunities; mobility infrastructure - highways, bridges & tunnels - ranks second, with $44 billion. Renewable energy projects, coupled with new forms of energy storage, rank third totaling $40 billion. Transit, including very strong Texas projects, like the Texas Central Railway and Cotton Belt Regional Rail, projects also had a strong presence at $37.5 billion in value.
