Challenge Group gears up for Valentine’s Day

As Valentine’s Day approaches, it is a very busy time for Challenge Group. Two months ago, we commenced our weekly flight operations into Nairobi, deploying a Boeing 767-300BDSF freighter aircraft to connect this key market with Europe and beyond. Since then, we have tripled our capacity, upgrading certain flights with a Boeing 747-400F freighter aircraft.

At 2,487,470 TEUs, U.S. container imports in January 2025 reached record-breaking volumes for the month, surpassing the previous record in January 2022 by 21,455 TEUs (see Figure 1).
