International air charter provider Air Partner is taking its rightful place among the elite of the freight industry, proving the company's breadth of expertise time and time again servicing a wide range of industries including governments, industrial shippers and humanitarian organizations.

Since the start of 2011, Air Partner Freight has aided in delivering over 600 tons of relief equipment to various nations in desperate need of aid. Air Partner took charge of relief efforts following the natural disasters that struck the nations of New Zealand and Japan in February and March of this year. The world's leading charter company organized flights that carried such cargo as 7,500 sanitation facilities to the victims of Christchurch and 100 tons of safe, clean drinking water to the victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan. Air Partner Freight was also responsible for chartering the one and only Antonov 225 to fly 145 tons of further aid to the victims of these crises.

However, Air Partner Freight's body of work has not been limited to relief efforts, rather, the division continues to be an integral part of complicated cargo operations. The company's unique global positioning and extensive expertise allow for participation among such diverse industries as automobiles and oil.

The freight division's most recent success story belongs to the U.S. team who was able to deliver a forty-six ton, ninety-foot long tubular joint, neatly tucked into the trunk of a Boeing 747-200 Freighter from Houston, Texas to Inchon, Korea.

A leading logistics company hired Air Partner to help load and fly the complex piece of equipment, which will eventually be sailed to Brazil to be used for off-shore drilling. The massive weight of the piece is not usually loadable in the aircraft that was being used, making the job as difficult as it was unusual. Air Partner pulled off the seemingly impossible task with three main deck loaders and two cranes.

'This was a complex cargo charter operation due to the many unusual factors involved with loading a 46 ton/ 90 foot long unit through the nose of a B747-200 Freighter,' says Michael Gellert, Director of Cargo Charter in North America, 'However, with enough preparation and with the experience of the U.S. Air Partner Freight team, the operation was a complete success.'

'I believe the completion of this job just goes to show Air Partner's ability to perform in high pressure situations under complicated conditions,' adds Phil Mathews, President of Air Partner. 'The ability of all of our divisions to perform as well as our private jet service just adds to the credibility of our company as a whole.'
