American Airlines Cargo Division (AA Cargo) has announced the appointment of John Tiliacos to vice president of cargo operations. Tiliacos will replace Mark Najarian, who has been named as American's managing director of JFK International Airport in New York.
A 20-year veteran of American Airlines, Tiliacos brings extensive experience in Airport Operations to American's Cargo division. He served as general manager at a number of airports, including Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. 'Most recently, Tiliacos held leadership roles in American's Flight Service and Onboard Products'where he spearheaded various customer initiatives to enhance customer experience.
"Tiliacos' diverse background and finely tuned customer focus make him the ideal fit to manage our cargo operations,' said Dave Brooks, president, American Airlines Cargo. "His leadership will continue to advance our efforts toward industry-leading service in the years ahead."
