RTS Holdings, LLC ('RTS') has announced its acquisition of key operating assets of RoadLink Transportation Solutions and its affiliated operating entities. Newly launched as RoadOne' IntermodaLogistics, the company is moving forward to take a leading position in the intermodal transportation and related logistics marketplace.

RoadOne is a newly formed Boston-based company founded by Boston area industry veterans Ken Kellaway and David McLaughlin with their lead financial partner Oskie Capital of New York City. With Ken Kellaway at the helm as President and Chief Executive Officer and David McLaughlin as Chief Operating Officer, along with key members of their team who have worked with them for over 20 years, RoadOne is led by some of the industry's top talent. Kellaway and McLaughlin collectively have over 50 years of experience in the intermodal transportation and logistics sector as the co-founders of Kellaway Intermodal & Distribution Systems which became one of the founding companies of RoadLink, and where they served for over twelve years on the leadership team. Their vision for RoadOne is to create a steady growth model for the business that is sustainable and more reliable than any other options in the intermodal marketplace.

RoadOne will operate in over 40 locations with 1,000 drayage tractors throughout key intermodal locations across North America. Kellaway has outlined a clear competitive advantage for RoadOne. 'With decades of experience in the intermodal space, we understand the challenges and have created solutions that connect our customers to success. That experience is invaluable and has afforded us the trust of our customers, some of whom have been with us for over 25 years. By streamlining decision-making at senior leadership levels, we can deliver results and reliability that nobody else can.' Further, the breadth of RoadOne's services enable a Single Source Solution (S3) for business partners nationwide, according to Kellaway. RoadOne's capabilities that boost their S3 platform include expertise in container terminal operations, dedicated fleet operations, warehousing and transloading services.

'Our forward-thinking companies have proven winning track records and the culture of RoadOne is built around five pillars that will be the foundation of success,' said COO McLaughlin. 'We embrace a business philosophy based on the tenets of reliability, tenacity, safety, integrity and loyalty. We are committed to re-defining the intermodal trucking industry and look forward to a bright future.'

With Kellaway and McLaughlin, RoadOne continues a trend of entrepreneurs re-acquiring businesses previously sold to private equity. The company is banking on their passion and experience which they believe resonates with customers and drives the controlled growth that made this leadership team successful throughout their careers. It's a proven formula that is poised to pay dividends once again.
