Cargo Equipment Experts CEE, a global network for equipment owners and asset based companies within the heavy cargo transport market, passed it's first year
mark of activities. The management is satisfied with the positive reception of the network, evidenced by 38 companies already enlisted in the various service and supporting industry categories on the CEE popular website. 'Before the CEE came to live there was not much of a global marketing tool existing, offering networking functions and related services for companies, who invest considerable amounts of capital to operate new and up to date technologies and equipment to move heavy cargo overland, through water or through the air', says Wolfgang Karau, responsible Director of Operation for CEE. Most existing networks for the logistic sector are focused primarily to serve freight forwarders and therefore the concept of the CEE is new to the transport market and raises positive interest from haulers, crane operators, stevedores, port and airport operators, export packers and carriers and manufacturers of equipment. This had been evidenced by the visit to the 2nd Asia Break Bulk Exhibition in Singapore in January 2010 where CEE exhibited, attracting keen interest from visitors and other exhibitors alike.
'The overwhelming response and interest from those who visited our booth in Singapore showed to us that the concept behind the CEE is welcomed and embraced by equipment owners, offering them a new tool for their global marketing strategies and opportunities to get same time new potential business partners and allies' says Maarit Karau, responsible Director for Marketing for CEE. 'We shall continue to show presence in the upcoming 5th European Break Bulk in Antwerp 18-20th of May 2010, followed by a visit to Houston, USA during 12-14th of October to exhibit in the 21st Annual Break Bulk Exhibition and invite all parties interested to visit our booth'.
'
Trade fair appearances at the Journal of Commerce events and advertisements in selected media assist the management of the network to boost awareness about CEE.'

CEE appointed Representatives in Europe, North America and South America to serve the respective markets in these areas.

'We are geared up to serve hundreds of members with first class networking services and we believe CEE will in time become the leading reference source for locating professional assistance in every part of the world when heavy items are required to be physically moved by skilled and reliable experts' says Stuart Murdoch, Hongkong based administrative Director of CEE.

Membership with CEE is on exclusive basis in respect of service categories and locations, which is reflected by defined search functions on the network's webpage.

The Directors of the CEE have a decade of networking experiences to show for, operating the leading franchise network for project cargo freight forwarders, Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC.
'
In addition to specified member service categories CEE accepts carriers and manufacturers of special equipment, to sign on as supporting industry.

Following this year's inaugural membership conference in January, ahead of the 2nd Asia Break Bulk exhibition in Singapore, the network will conduct its second annual membership conference in Amsterdam in May 2011, following the 6th European Break Bulk Exhibition in Antwerp that year.
