Since 2008, Paolo Montrone has served as Senior Vice President, Seafreight for South West Europe, with responsibilities across France, Luxemburg, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Malta.

Montrone joined Kuehne + Nagel in 1990 as the New York-based International Sales Manager for Italy, before being promoted to National Director Seafreight Mediterranean in 1993.
Between 1997 and 2008, he held positions of increasing responsibility with the Kuehne + Nagel organization in Italy, including Florence Branch Manager, District Manager Central Italy, National Director Sales & Marketing, and National Director Seafreight.
