Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has opened a new service center in Tomah, Wisconsin, a vital transportation hub for the Midwestern United States.

The Tomah Service Center is positioned at the intersection of several major thoroughfares, including Interstate 90 and Interstate 94. Tomah is also situated along U.S. Highways 12 and 16 and Wisconsin State Highways 21, 131 and 173.

The newly constructed, 78-door terminal is located at 1131 East Clifton Street in Tomah. The facility employs 20 people.

'The terminal's large size will prepare Old Dominion to efficiently handle the huge volume of freight moving through Tomah on a daily basis,' said Michael Jeske, the service center's manager. 'The new location will improve our service by cutting customers' delivery times while also positioning Old Dominion for continued growth in the Midwest.'

The terminal's service area includes seven cities in Wisconsin (La Crosse, Sparta, Black River Falls, Mauston, Baraboo, Onalaska and Reedsburg) and two cities in Minnesota (Rochester and Winona).
