Experienced sales and marketing executive committed to driving expansion, growth in the Life Sciences sector Walker SCM, LLC, a minority-certified global transportation and logistics firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Randi Norfleet as Executive Director, Global Business Development. Ms. Norfleet brings extensive experience as a Sales and Marketing leader with DuPontMerck, Johnson & Johnson, and Daiichi Sankyo, where she was well known for developing sustainable strategies, introducing innovative initiatives, and driving short and long-term profitability. In her new role with Walker, she will be responsible for developing the company’s Life Sciences program both domestically and globally. Given her broad experience in pharmaceuticals and the biotech industry, Ms. Norfleet is well-positioned to establish Walker SCM as the sector’s eminent partner for global transportation, logistics optimization and supply chain integration.  “The timing of bringing Randi onboard is perfect,” commented Emmett Walker, President & CEO of Walker SCM, “because the company has been primed to expand its Life Sciences program for some time. Ms. Norfleet began her career at DupontMerck/Bristol Myers Squibb in a variety of sales and product management leadership roles. With Johnson & Johnson and Centocor Biotech (Janssen), she served on the inline marketing, commercial operations and strategic customer relations teams. Post Johnson & Johnson, Ms. Norfleet joined Daiichi Sankyo, Japan’s second largest pharmaceutical company, as a Senior Product Manager. After over 15 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, she joined Parchem, a global specialty chemical distribution company, as Senior Director of Strategy.  For the past two years, Ms. Norfleet has been a selected active member of the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies (DCAT) Association education committee. DCAT is the leading business development association with membership consisting of multinational manufacturers and distributors serving the pharmaceutical, chemical and related industries. In addition, Ms. Norfleet is a former Legislative Assistant as well as a Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt.
