ANTONOV Airlines has been named Air Freight Operator of the Year in the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA)’s 2018 FTA Logistics Awards.

The Ukraine-based heavy lift carrier was commended for demonstrating industry leadership and excellence in the global air cargo sector upon receiving the accolade, last night at a glittering awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
“This award demonstrates how our hard-working teams remain dedicated to delivering nothing short of excellence, bolstered by our uniquely capable aircraft,” said Graham Witton, Managing Director, ANTONOV Airlines in UK.
“We are particularly pleased to have won this category given this is the first time it has been featured in these awards, and we look forward to continuing to deliver innovative solutions that make a difference to the global heavy lift and project cargo market.”
A record number of companies were shortlisted for awards at this year’s FTA Logistics Awards, which celebrates businesses and individuals that make innovative and significant contributions to their sector across the supply chain.
