Organization changes aligned with new strategic roadmap to drive innovation & growth

Budd Lake, NJ - Consolidated Chassis Management (CCM), the leading interoperable gray chassis pool manager in the United States, today announced a series of changes to its organization and executive leadership designed to support the company’s plans to drive future growth by enhancing its core business and entering new growth areas.

“Achieving optimized performance — both for our customers and for CCM — is more important today than ever,” said Michael Wilson, CCM’s CEO. “To best position CCM for future growth, we are making a series of strategic organizational leadership appointments, which support the evolution of our business and drive consistent growth.”

“These changes will place some of our most experienced executives into mission-critical operational and customer-facing roles while also bringing additional perspectives to the management of our business.  These are the right leaders to enable us to continue to deliver superior value to customers, build our business and achieve future growth.  Quite simply, there are tremendous opportunities ahead of us, and we are aligning our organization to go after them,” added Wilson.

Jim Woods, has been promoted from General Manager, Mid-South and Southeast Regions to Director of Operations - Southern Division, effective February 2nd.  In his new role, he will oversee operations of the SACP, MCCP, and GCCP and continues to be located in Memphis. Mr. Woods first joined the MCCP as Pool Manager in October 2006, then a TRAC Intermodal employee. Following management transitions, he would later join CCM as General Manager in 2012. He distinguishes himself as the only employee who has served in a management capacity for all six of CCM’s pools.

Robert Kline has been promoted from General Manager, Southeast Region to Director of Operations, Midwest Region, effective February 24th. In his new role, he will oversee operations of the COCP, MWCP, and DCCP and continues to be located in Kansas City MO. Mr. Kline joined MWCP as Pool Manager in November 2008 as a TRAC Intermodal employee. He also joined CCM as an employee following management transitions in 2011. He served as Pool Manager, MWCP, Sr. Pool Manager, MWCP-DCCP, and, most recently, as General Manager, Southeast Region.

Gene Bambach has been promoted from General Manager, COCP to Director, Business Partner Relations, effective February 24th.  In his new role, Mr. Bambach will report directly to the CEO and will focus on improving relations with industry partners to drive CCM’s strategy and relationship-building excellence throughout the organization. He will continue to work out of the Chicago office. Having joined CCM in July 2008, as General Manager, COCP, he became CCM’s fourth employee. In recent years, CCM expanded his responsibilities to include oversight of both the MWCP and DCCP.

CCM was founded on the principle of creating efficiencies and synergies that serve all the stakeholders in the industry -- from terminal operators to ocean carriers, railroads, and motor carriers. With many of CCM’s leaders having served the company for more than ten years, these appointments showcase a seasoned and expert management team.

“I am excited for these organizational appointments and believe they position CCM for continued growth well beyond 2020,” stated Wilson. “These three leaders share a common vision for CCM, driving our business forward while promoting partnership, mutual respect and trust.”
