Orange EV and Firefly Transportation Services today announced the deployment of Orange EV T-Series pure electric terminal trucks into yard management operations for a leading manufacturer of consumer packaged goods.
South Carolina Ports Authority announced 200,594 twenty-foot equivalent container units (TEUs) handled during the first month of fiscal year 2019, marking the strongest July on record and second-highest monthly container volume in the Port’s history.
The Georgia Ports Authority moved 378,767 twenty-foot equivalent container units (TEUS) in July, an increase of 12.7 percent, or 42,668 TEUs, compared to the same month last year. It was the second busiest month on record for the Port of Savannah.
The Port of Virginia will be receiving a $456,000 grant from the federal government’s Marine Highway Program to enhance cargo operations at Richmond Marine Terminal (RMT) and support growing cargo volumes on the port’s regular barge service to that terminal.
