Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is celebrating winning four new airline contracts in North America.

Frontier Airlines appointed WFS to provide above and below the wing handling services when it commenced flights to Great Falls, Montana (GTF) and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (CID). The airline's Embraer 190 aircraft serve both stations four times a week. The new contract means WFS now provides solutions for Frontier in four cities in North America.

Virgin America also chose WFS when it started services to Washington Reagan National (DCA) from San Francisco. This is the first cooperation between Virgin America and WFS and covers ramp handling, cabin cleaning and deicing services in Washington.

In Wichita, Kansas (ICT), Southwest Airlines appointed WFS to provide ramp handling and cabin cleaning services for its three flights a day. Southwest is a new customer for WFS in the U.S.

WFS' latest success is its contract win from Allegiant Air. The airline has awarded responsibility for passenger and ramp handling in Appleton, Wisconsin (ATW) to WFS for its five MD80 operations each week, commencing on September 22nd. Appleton is the 13th city where WFS provides service to Allegiant Air.

Glenn A. Rutkowski, Senior Vice President, Passenger Terminal Services North America for WFS, said: 'We have a strong reputation for providing both the price competitiveness airlines need alongside the quality of service they want to offer their customers and this is behind our success.'
