Corporate social responsibility forms a key foundation of how GT USA operates its businesses. Through the four pillars of the company’s CSR policy the company actively encourages its employees to participate in any way they can with local groups in the areas surrounding the Port.

“We firmly believe that giving back to the community in any capacity - donating, volunteering - is a corporate responsibility,” said Eric Casey, Chief Executive Officer at GT USA Wilmington.

“These are very early days for GT USA in Wilmington and we wanted to be able to share our excitement at taking over operations at the Port with some of our close neighbors and what better way to start than by marking one of the most important celebrations of the year, Eric continued. “I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who pulled together as one team to make this event possible, all the GT USA staff, along with John Achzet from Royal Pest Solutions and Harold Cohen from Global Reefers USA. We wish all the families at Bancroft Elementary a very Happy Thanksgiving.”
