Jacksonville, FL - During today’s meeting of the JAXPORT Board of Directors, JAXPORT presented checks worth more than $30,200 to the United Way of Northeast Florida and Community Health Charities.

The funds, raised by employee donations during the JAXPORT Annual Charity Drive, will support local charities providing services to the citizens of Northeast Florida.

JAXPORT has contributed nearly $690,000 to the two charities since 2002.

“I am impressed by the generosity of our employees and proud of the positive impact JAXPORT’s growth has on Northeast Florida,” said JAXPORT CEO Eric Green. “As the region’s economic engine, we are grateful for the opportunity to help build a brighter future for our area through job creation and giving back to the community.”
