- Maersk expects it will take a few weeks for the US-led maritime task force to restore security to the Red Sea.
- In the meantime, ONE has joined the list of now six of the ten largest container carriers who will be diverting away from the Red Sea and Suez Canal, taking longer, more expensive routes to their destinations.That makes 19% of global volumes diverting, from six of the top ten carriers representing 62% of global capacity.
- Freightos Data shows freight rates are starting to climb, with Asia - N. Europe prices increasing 14% in the last few days.
