TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) announced the publication of its integrated "MOL Report 2019."
Under the title "Navigating the Future," the report introduces the MOL Group’s ongoing progress toward its 10-year vision, set out in the new management plan, “Rolling Plan 2019.”
As a multi-modal ocean shipping company with one of the world’s largest fleets, how can the MOL Group offer value to society and maximize it through business expansion? To answer this question, the report provides a careful, detailed explanation of the MOL Group’s current status and future vision by describing priority areas and the characteristics of its business portfolio, while aiming to give the reader a deeper understanding about how sustainability issues (materiality) such as the environment, technology, and human resources are connected to the group’s business. The report also highlights the “Yamal LNG Project” as a case that successfully drew upon the group’s experience, technological capabilities, and close relationships with overseas partners.
