Nordana has announced that its Mediterranean service will be making regularly-scheduled, direct vessel calls in Georgia at the Port of Savannah. This enhancement to the service will commence with the sailing of the M/V Schackenborg on March 5th.

"Customer feedback has indicated that regular calls at the Port of Savannah will provide a valuable addition to the market we serve," said Bob Chick, President of Nordana USA, Inc. "We believe this addition will bring greater business opportunities and new levels of cost effectiveness to the US and Mediterranean markets Nordana serves."

Vessels will operate out of Savannah's Liberty Terminal.

Nordana's Liner Division has operated its Mediterranean-Americas RoRo service, encompassing four main trade lanes, since 1957. The versatile RoRo vessels employed in the service enable Nordana to handle heavy lift, project, containerized, and break-bulk cargo, in addition to all types of rolling stock.
