LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA – The National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) awarded Dupré Logistics for its outstanding safety record achieved in Personnel Safety in the 31.5 – 40 million mile class for 2017. The NTTC held its 2018 Safety and Security Council annual meeting recently in Reno, Nevada.

“Dupré has a long history with NTTC, we have a shared commitment to safety of our drivers and all on the road. We appreciate the recognition of our company’s commitment to safety,” said Al LaCombe, Dupré Logistics Vice President of Safety & Risk Management.

The Personnel Safety Award, which spotlights Dupré Logistics' outstanding safety record and commitment to personal injury reduction, represents the top honor for carriers in their class. As a full service logistics provider, Dupré drivers were ranked in this category due to their lack of personnel injuries in the preceding year.

Dupré has historically carried hazardous materials via tank truck and has been a NTTC member since 1984. Dupré’s comprehensive safety program combines technology, driver behavior review and a number of other elements that has led Dupré to receive numerous safety recognitions.

Founded in 1945, the NTTC is a trade association comprised of approximately 600 trucking companies specializing in the nationwide distribution of bulk liquids, industrial gases and dry products in cargo tank motor vehicles.
