Pledge has been announced as the Official Sustainability Partner of Multimodal 2024, the UK’s largest supply chain and logistics event.

Pledge’s carbon reporting solutions enable freight forwarders, making up approximately a third of Multimodal attendees annually, to report emissions from their customers’ shipments, providing global coverage for all modes of transports.

“Collaboration is key to advancing sustainability in logistics, and we’re excited to partner with Multimodal 2024,” said David de Picciotto, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder, Pledge.

“We are looking forward to demonstrating the value of investing in carbon reporting technologies and integrating these into freight forwarders’ business objectives.”

Pledge's software allows freight forwarders to supply vital data and insights to shippers aiming to meet emissions disclosure regulations and implement sustainable practices into their business strategies.

“Multimodal has been championing sustainable practices in our industry since 2008,” said Robert Jervis, Event Director, Multimodal.

“Partnering with Pledge further demonstrates our commitment to an environmentally responsible future of logistics.”

Multimodal is the UK’s leading freight and logistics event, which this year anticipates over 12,000 attendees.

“We are hoping to foster more conversations around decarbonisation, and you will see that reflected in the conferences we have organised at this year’s event.”

Pledge’s Head of Partnerships, Sanj Matharu, will be taking to the stage on the event’s inaugural day to discuss the industry’s best routes to decarbonising supply chains.

On the final day, de Picciotto will be participating in a panel about alternative fuel paths and the industry’s journey to net zero.
