Expanded brokerage network adds capacity and increases regional presence
Schneider National Inc. announced that it will add 10 new regional brokerage offices in 2005, increasing its network to 27. The offices will increase Schneider's third-party carrier network in the US and Mexico, bringing shippers critically needed capacity and improving customer service levels in those areas. The new offices will be located in: Indianapolis, IN; Seattle, WA; Tulsa, OK; Charlotte, NC; Harrisburg, PA; Detroit, MI; New Orleans, LA; Boston, MA; St. Louis, MO and Monterrey, Mexico.
"Our regional presence will increase by nearly 60 percent in 2005," said Mark Rourke, vice president and general manager of Schneider Brokerage. "With our expanded footprint, Schneider Brokerage will bring customers in these markets the high level integrity and service Schneider National is recognized for, with the added benefit of local carriers who bring intimate knowledge of the marketplace to provide responsive, effective and predictable service."
