Kansas City, MO – Total Quality Logistics announced its newest sales office today in Kansas City, Missouri. The office – located at 920 Main Street, Third Floor, Kansas City, Missouri 64105 - is scheduled to open for business November 14, 2016. The new location will be TQL’s 57th office nationwide and the second to open in Missouri. TQL St. Louis was the first location in the Show Me state, opening in November of 2014 with a founding team of five. That office has already grown to almost 40 employees. "Six years ago we set out to recruit, retain and grow transportation and logistics companies right here in Missouri," said Missouri Governor Jay Nixon. "TQL’s decision to expand in Missouri for a second time has helped drive our economic comeback, with record employment and millions in new investments throughout the state."  The new office will open with a founding team of five current TQL employees, as well as several more from its first hiring class prior to opening. TQL plans to bring 50 to 75 new jobs to the city over the next three years. “I’m very proud to welcome Total Quality Logistics to our city’s growing downtown corridor,” said Mayor Sly James. “As Kansas City continues to attract new companies and expand its talent pool, we strengthen our city’s local economy and increase our visibility both nationally and internationally. I look forward to watching this company continue to grow and expand in the next several years.” TQL connects customers needing to move truckload freight with quality carriers who have the capacity to move it. “Opening a new location in Kansas City helps us to build on the success we’ve had in Missouri the last two years with our St. Louis office,” said TQL president Kerry Byrne. “Our expansion plan is aggressive as we strive to offer more opportunities to be a world-class customer service provider in the logistics industry.” TQL is hiring now in the Kansas City area; interested applicants may visit here for more information on job opportunities.
